In 1968 Gud,Flo,David moved into there home on Highfield Park,Maltby.After an accident injuring his back Gud had to stop working in the mine and went to work in the stores and also looked after the Canaries that the miners took down with them. On 16th November 1977 he bacame a grandad for the first time to Emma Ruth who he used to call his little dinky doo and who he took everywhere with him and also passed onto his love of animals.
